Most all of our mantel shelves can be manufactured for a variety of installations. This image features a shelf that is 'butt cut' on the left end, where the fireplace and facing butt up to an adjacent wall on the left. There is no room for the crown molding to hang over the left end, so we made what is called a butt cut. Also featured in this image is a brick pocket design; wherein the bottom of the shelf was sized to cap or nest down over a four inch deep facing ledge/depth.
